Job Summary and Qualifications

As the Lab Supervisor you will assist the manager in overseeing the daily operational functions of the lab. You will serve as a primary resource for daily operations including decision-making, response to problems, identifying errors and taking corrective actions.

* You will coordinate staffing schedules.

* Manage inventory and ordering of lab supplies.

* You will assist in orienting new lab employees to the department and provide ongoing staff development and in-services to all lab employees.

REQUIREMENTS

* Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology or Clinical Laboratory Sciences or related field.

* ASCP/NCA National Certification or equivalent.

* Five (5) or more years of experience as a Medical Technologist (MT).

* Two (2) or more years of Supervisory/Management experience.
