Day-to-day:

An employer in San Antonio, TX is looking for a Technical Support Specialist III to join their team. This person will be responsible for coordinating preventative maintenance with IT support and BioMed, they will participate in equipment vendor management and vendor training. They will oversee the operation of the laboratory equipment and assist lab technologists and staff with validations and equipment support as needed. They will need to have excellent written and verbal communication skills, as they will be responsible for communicating with all levels of staff and record keeping of all proper documentation. They will support and respond to all emergency shutdowns, assist with new equipment installations, and ensure the completion of the troubleshooting and repairs of the equipment.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
• Bachelors Degree in Applied Science
• experience working in lab operations and laboratory testing • •
• experience performing equipment validations, maintenance, and working with equipment vendors
