Insight Global is looking for a Lead Firewall Engineer to join an Education Client's Firewall team in San Antonio, Texas. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a team of 2-3 high level technical specialists and analysts to design, install, configure, administer and support large scale enterprise technology systems and infrastructure components. The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication skills and will be able to communicate enterprise technology goals to their team of technical specialist. They will serve as the functional project leader for major network based systems deployment. This candidate will be serving as a Tier III support for Fortinet firewall support.

Required Skills & Experience

* Bachelor's Degree (additional 4 years of experience required in place of degree)

* 6+ years of Networking experience

configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting and operating as a technical lead

* 6 + years of Fortinet Firewalls troubleshooting experience

* Experience working with load balancers (preferably A-10 load balancers)

* 2+ years of lead or management experience

* Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively lead a team of IT individuals

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Master's Degree

* CISSP or Security+ certification

Experience with Telecommunications wiring, cabling and/or routing
