Responsibilities

  • Assists skilled maintenance workers.
  • May perform simple repairs on electrical equipment and machinery or minor repairs to the facilities including painting, plastering, carpentry and plumbing.
  • Effectively communicates with personnel of other departments, medical staff, patients and co-employees while performing duties and with suppliers to purchase materials .

Qualifications

Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of general mechanic or building maintenance experience

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience supporting a large hospital or medical facilit y
