Medical Office Front Desk Lead - Family Care

Fast-paced, high-volume clinic looking for a top skilled Medical Office Front Desk Lead. Is that you?

Work location: 400 West Arbrook Arlington TX 76014

Work hours: Full Time, 40 hours weekly, Monday - Thursday 8:00am -5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm (Hours may vary)

Here's What You Need

High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

4 years Billing experience in a healthcare organization (required) and

4 years of Office experience (required)

Bilingual in Spanish/English (a plus)

Demonstrates good understanding of health insurance and medical costs, including coding.
Requires strong customer skills.
Good communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Possesses a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism.
A team player who handles multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

What You Will Do

Acts as a team lead to schedule work and ensure timely and accurate billing activities.

Coordinates with clinical staff to obtain charge information for all patients.

Codes procedures performed and diagnosis on charge. Acts as a resource for Practice Managers and Physicians with denials and coding questions.

Coordinates copies of medical documentation with physician charges to support billing to third-party payers.

Resolves complex patient billing inquiries and problems.

Conducts all functions associated with patient check-out including pricing services, collecting payment and scheduling follow-up appointments.

Completes payment and benefit verification on all patients in accordance with practice policies.
