We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations System Analyst to join our team. Implementing, maintaining, and supporting Operations systems and act as key liaison between the Production, Growing, Distribution, Sales, and Maintenance departments and the IT department and outside vendors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Support end users for current systems by researching and resolving problems.
  • Gain and document understandings of the key processes for all supported departments.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for increased efficiency through workflow or system enhancements.
  • Identify and document project requirements by meeting with key stakeholders.
  • Complete detailed system testing on upgrades and new system implementations, clearly document findings, share findings and potential resolutions with Operation systems team, internal IT, or outside vendors.
  • Provide system training in person and virtually to users along with thorough documentation.
  • Document workflows and standard operating procedures (SOP) for new and existing systems.
  • Create, maintain, and support label templates for Operations.
  • Work with IT and external vendors to create and review reports via SQL and SSRS, SEI, Microsoft PowerBI, and Crystal Reports.
  • Provide backup for members of the Operation Systems team, as needed.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in person, and via phone with all levels of staff.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Solid skills in relational database management and design for Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Ability to develop and implement technical standards, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Self-motivated, able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
  • Desire to learn new skills and abilities
  • Strong attention to detail required.
  • Ability to work cross departmentally, and within a team environment.
  • Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Excel and previous experience with Microsoft Office application suite.
  • Strong planning, organizing and project management skills with results focus.
  • Technical experience with systems applications, databases, and user support.
  • Solid skills in relational database management and design for Microsoft SQL Server.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related program.
  • 1-3 years of progressive, hands-on technology and application support experience.
  • 1-3 years Microsoft SQL, Data Analysis, and Report Writing experience
  • Previous user training experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Willingness to travel to Smith Gardens and conference locations.
  • During peak season, provide off-hours support including evenings and weekends.
  • Office environment, long hours sitting in front of a computer.
PAY RANGE: $29 - $ 34 per hour

Pay rate is determined by various components including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The pay rate is one component of the total compensation package. Other rewards vary by position and location.
