Job Description

Work with an ophthalmic medical team to create images of patients' retinas, corneas and other ocular structures to help diagnose and devise treatment plans for various eye-related problems.

Job responsibilities:
• Performs patient work-ups and diagnostic testing as required by most senior level clinical staff.
• Supervise and train other ophthalmology team members such as Ophthalmic assistants, Ophthalmic imagers
• Appropriately schedule technical staff in accordance with clinical needs; approves time off request for technical staff an manages time and attendance and overtime. Organizes and conducts regular meetings of technical interpretation of policies to ensure patient needs are met.
• Develops and implements protocols for continuing education of technical staff. Plans and organizes in-service training programs.
• Ensure all clinical equipment is functioning properly; request repairs, maintenance and IT assistance as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Hospital Administration, Health Care Administration, Public Health or a related discipline; and
2. Four (4) years of administrative experience and background at responsible management and administrative levels; or
3. An equivalent combination of training, educational background and experience in related fields and educational disciplines may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
