A financial firm is looking for aProject Manager to join their team in New York, NY.

Pay: $65/hr W2

Responsibilities:
  • Manage program plan, dependencies, risks, and schedules and ensure that they are well-defined and communicated appropriately
  • Track, mitigate, and escalate issues or impediments with Product, Design, and Engineering partners
  • Prepare, plan, and deliver program updates to internal stakeholders
  • Partner with internal Compliance, Marketing, and Funds groups to ensure content and product launches are successful and in regulatory compliance
  • Facilitate and ensure collaboration across project teams by leading impactful meetings and managing our centralized documentation
  • Drawing upon Agile development practices, tailor the team's processes to best meet their needs, and improve those processes as the team grows and evolves
  • Manage cross-functional project plans and help build product roadmaps
  • Proactively anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, and communicate tradeoffs across the business to optimize intended project outcome
  • Set the tone for and work well in a collaborative and iterative environment
  • Initiate and document best practices and processes that will help the team maximize efficiencies and mitigate risk
Qualifications:Required
  • A Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution
  • 5 years of experience in program management, project management, or a similar role
  • Proficient in using JIRA, Confluence, and Smartsheet to anticipate, identify, and proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Analytical and data driven decision-making experience
  • Deep knowledge of the art and science of program management, with a toolkit of both Agile and traditional project management methodologies to use as needed
  • Experience facilitating and managing communication channels within the project, including meetings, workshops, email, and documentation
  • Ability to work daily with engineering; communicate, coordinate, and manage dependencies
  • Project and maintain an authoritative presence across the full scope of the project lifecycle
  • Strategic quick-thinking that helps predict and solve for issues before they arise
  • Take initiative and ownership of the Program Management plan
Preferred
  • Familiarity with investment vehicles and asset management
  • Experience with Sitecore or other enterprise Content Management Systems
  • Fintech or financial services experience
  • Software Migration Project/Program Manager Experience
