Here's What You Need
Education
- H.S. Diploma or Equivalent . is required And
- Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related field 4 Years additional relevant experience in lieu of degree is required
Experience
- 3 Years Revenue cycle management or practice operations management (with Degree). is required or
- 7 Years Revenue cycle management or practice operations management (without Degree). is required
What You Will Do
OPERATIONS
- Perform daily/weekly/monthly reporting analyses for all Back-End Revenue Cycle functions to help identify root causes affecting cash flow and net revenue:
- Utilize all available decision support tools to complete analyses
- Validate findings through account sampling and research
- Escalate identified trends/populations to appropriate owners and stakeholders
- Share report findings and root cause analyses with Coding and Reimbursement department, Compliance, and Practice Management to facilitate improved coding and charging processes/outcomes
- Provide analytical support for prioritized action plan development in Revenue Cycle meetings
- Serve as a resource for questions from Revenue Cycle Team and vendor(s)
- Collaborate with ITS, THR Reporting Team, and vendor to develop necessary department and executive level reporting to ensure problems are identified and issues are escalated appropriately.
Attend webinars, classes, lectures, internal meetings, etc. to maintain current knowledge regarding CMS reimbursement, commercial payer contracts, THPG charging policies, and other changes that impact revenue.
VENDOR RELATIONS
- Coordinate with RCM Team Analysts and vendor support team to support design and maintenance of performance improvement plans including regular reporting of Revenue Cycle metrics and KPIs compared against internal targets and industry leading practices
- Help facilitate problem resolution with vendor support team to ensure that ongoing processes and technological opportunities are analyzed, vetted, and implemented
