• About This Opportunity


Implement and manage analytical processes to provide fact-based recommendations for merchandising decisions. Provide verification, analysis, and insights to consistently improve merchandising strategies to ensure all decisions are consumer-based and financially viable for our franchisees and store operators.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
  • Lead the development of analytics tools that are necessary to drive Merchandise strategies and bottom line results
  • Supports long-term vendor planning management and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Provides expertise and guidance in driving results for Cost Policy and Joint Business Planning
  • Creates, maintains, and administers Merchandise and vendor scorecards - analyzes performance gaps and recommends mitigation strategies as needed for course correction
  • Regularly engages with Product Directors, Category team members, and cross functional business partners to support Merchandise initiatives, business processes, and goals
  • Prepare materials to be utilized in management decks to support communication of merchandise strategies throughout the organization, assessing both internal strategies and the external environment to deliver new business insights
  • Play a key role in assisting the manager in training, mentoring, and developing analysts on the team


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 5+ years

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
  • Showcases ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple competing priorities while consistently executing at a high level
  • Experience in taking multiple data points to form a storyline that can effectively illustrate the business case and communicates key takeaways to different audiences
  • Experience with Microsoft office suite and data analysis tools (PowerBI, Circana, Databricks, etc)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
  • Provide excellent customer service to Merchandising organization through analytics, execution, and verification
