Senior Finance Manager - Business Development, International Prime Video

Amazon's Prime Video is an on-demand video entertainment service offering premium Original programming, an extensive selection of licensed library, and the opportunity for customers aggregate their additional video subscriptions in one place. Our service spans over 240 countries, where it is critical PV's app is accessible in both our customers' living rooms and their mobile devices.
This role will partner the business development team responsible for securing PV's distribution across OEMs (e.g. Samsung, LG etc.), MVPDs (e.g. Comcast) and third party wallets. These agreements are multi-year and highly strategic, requiring a strong understanding of Prime Video's business model to protect our investments. This role is both highly commercial, while also maintaining a 'start-up' mentality and therefore the importance on finance controller-ship fundamentals.
The ideal candidate will have experience in both commercial negotiation support and implementation of effective control processes. There will be a high degree of autonomy as this is a unique role within PV. Therefore, the candidate is expected to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rolling up sleeves to deliver individually as well as directing a team.
Key job responsibilities
Deliver valuation frameworks for PV distribution agreements, evolving to meet PV's changing business needs and geographic priorities.
Provide recommendations on deal-constructs which incentivize device partners to improve customer experience.
Partner with tech and business teams to automate partner payments and on-going management.
Define performance metrics that isolate the impacts of partner marketing and UX investments.
Scale team resources to deliver across a growing set of core finance functions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Experience recruiting, hiring and developing talent
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Experience working with senior staff (e.g., c-suite)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience
- 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $122,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
