DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong java experience: five or more years of application development experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Strong JavaScript and React experience
• Extensive experience with AWS-based cloud development technologies including EC2, S3, SQS/SNS, API Gateway, Lambda, Event Bridge, AppFlow, and Secrets Manager
• Experience with server-side/back-end development.
• Experience in the application integration architecture, solution design, and development using SOA, API Services and microservices best practices and patterns.
• Experience collaborating on software via GIT version control. Fundamental Linux skills. Understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design principles and patterns.
• Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI spec and strong technical background in consuming and providing RESTful services.
• Knowledge of best practices, development methodologies (particularly Agile) & standards.
• Familiarity with common open-source frameworks and libraries such as Log4j/Logback and Jackson.
• Experience in a DevOps environment with ability to instrument pipeline automation (Jenkins) and CI/CD.
• Familiar with common development tools such as Eclipse/IntelliJ, Maven, SonarQube, and Git.
