We're looking for a Software Engineer to:

• design, develop, and improve the digital products and technology services we provide to our clients and employees
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
• share knowledge and expertise with colleagues , help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.
• Design, plan and deliver sustainable solutions using modern programming languages.
• provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications.

Your team

In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You'll be working in US team in Weehawken focusing on Regulatory Reporting requirements from the Federal Reserve, Parent Bank Merger Initiatives and migration activities to strategic reporting platforms.

Your expertise

• Bachelor or master degree or equivalent with a focus in computer science or engineering
• ideally 10 years or more of experience in a similar position focused on developing regulatory / financial / internal reporting solutions within the finance sector
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• strong communicator, from making presentations to technical writing
• strong experience in Axiom and Abacus / A360
• strong experience with data warehousing, SQL on Oracle databases
• nice to have experience with Big Data, Cloud Computing and Spark/Databricks using Scala or Python
• excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment
• familiar with SDLC and software development practices, including experience with Agile methodologies
