The team is responsible for risk management, internal audit, supplier revenue, tax, insurance and investor relations, finance operations, corporate financial planning and analysis, strategy and business insights, and procurement and facilities.

Position Overview

Finance & Strategy is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst.

Position Description

• Serve as the point of contact with 3rd-party service providers for monthly sales taxes and federal and state income tax return preparation.
• Manage monthly sales tax filings.
• Assist with tax notices.
• Assist with the global tax provision and the company's quarterly and annual tax journal entry.
• Review general ledger tax accounts and tax expense computations that flow into the quarterly and annual tax provision computations, as well as tax account reconciliations.
• Assist with the external audit of tax provisions.
• Review critical month-end tax accounting close tasks, journal entries, reconciliations, and state use tax accrual.
• Assist with all elements of the tax return process, including support for federal, state, and international tax compliance, reconciling book-tax differences, and tracking the company's tax attributes.
• Assist with the design, implementation, execution, and maintenance of tax processes and controls.
• Support the evolution of the tax reporting function, tax technology tools, and related technological enhancements.
• Support tax modeling, calculations, and any other tax projects on an as-needed basis.
• Assist in preparing tax-related memos and presentations while collaborating closely and proactively with different functional teams and stakeholders.

Position Requirements



Experience & Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or MA in Taxation
• 3+ years total tax experience in the Big 4 or a large corporate tax department
• Proven work experience in indirect tax and income tax area
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to self-review and pay attention to details
• Knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns
• Knowledge of tax software (Vertex) and MS Office
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems
• Strong leadership and personnel management skills
• Analytical skills with detail orientation
• Experience with Alteryx a plus
• Experience with Excel modeling a must
