The U.S. Consumer Services Team is responsible for our suite of consumer products, services, and experiences in the U.S., including our premium, cobrand, cash back, and lending portfolios, Membership Rewards, Global Travel & Lifestyle Services, the Centurion Lounge network, our Global Dining and Resy businesses, U.S. Consumer Banking, and best-in-class marketing programs across customer, prospect, and partner channels. The USCS team is focused on making membership an indisputable competitive advantage and helping each other become better leaders every day.

The U.S. Consumer Marketing team (USCM) is part of the US Consumer Services Group and is responsible for making membership essential by creating and delivering world class marketing for our differentiated products and services that drives demand and inspires engaged card members across the customer lifecycle.

The Prospect, Partner, & Customer Growth team within the US Consumer Marketing Group is responsible for delivering best-in-class marketing through digital and direct channels to drive conversion of qualified applicants in the competitive landscape.

The Senior Analyst of Paid Search will help facilitate channel management & growth of the Paid Search marketing channel for Consumer Card products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze channel performance and identify key drivers; Partner closely with agency, analytics, strategy, and investment optimization teams to develop performance commentary
  • Produce regular reporting and share insights on performance and opportunities with key partners and leaders
  • Lead complex monthly and annual performance forecasting processes
  • Lead channel budget and own invoicing, payment, and reconciliation processes with keen attention to detail
  • Support the development of Paid Search channel strategies that directly connect to company priorities
  • Find opportunity areas for innovation and project manage a variety of high priority projects
  • Build strong relationships and lead day to day communications with internal and external partners, including analytics, legal and compliance, external agencies, and Search platform partners
  • Lead with an external point of view by both staying ahead of industry trends and technologies, as well as maintaining relationships with digital marketing teams across Amex to find opportunity areas for collaboration


Minimum Qualifications

    • Strong mix of analytical and critical thinking skills to extract data driven insights and find opportunity areas that will get results
    • Hardworking marketer with demonstrated understanding of digital marketing
    • Strong cross-functional collaborator, with an ability to navigate the organization and processes independently, establish relationships, and influence partners
    • Strategic thought starter who can deliver work with consistence, independence, and excitement
    • Have a "can do" attitude towards problem solving and demonstrated ability to work well with new opportunities
    • Strong project management and organizational skills including attention to detail, handling multiple priorities, leading timelines, and driving detailed execution
    • Superior verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Desire to learn and be part of a fast-paced, dynamic team
    • Experience in Microsoft Excel is required


Qualifications

Salary Range: $55,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
