Amazon Online Stores enables over 2 million third-party sellers in eleven market stores to list their products for sale to Amazon customers across the world. Within our WW stores business, International Seller Services (ISS) oversees the recruiting and development of Sellers for all of our international market stores (e.g. CN, UK, Germany, Japan, Middle East, MX etc.). ISS also enables global selling, helping Sellers in one country expand and sell internationally. US Global Sales (USGS), within ISS, is chartered to facilitate global selling for US based Sellers who are either already established in Amazon's US store or are new to Amazon and looking to sell internationally. International Seller Growth (ISG) central products team within ISS develops products to support sellers and account managers who support them.

As a single threaded owner of learning and development charter for the USGS and AM Tools teams, you will own the full life cycle of designing, developing and implementing of course curriculum for USGS account managers and build self paced trainings for Gen AI enabled products launched to account managers world wide to drive awareness and adoption.

Key job responsibilities

• \tDesign and develop engaging learning content including but not limited to creating instructional videos, handbooks, wikis and other collateral

• \tCollaborate with program/product owners to develop and regularly update self-paced training content

• \tCollaborate with regional stakeholders to identify training needs and proactively plan and design training roadmap

• \tCollaborate with region/country level PoCs to localize training content where applicable

• \tManage the program roll out and drive continuous improvement of instructional design and training processes including establishing and measuring success metrics and feedback loop

• \tContribute to org planning and periodic business reviews through timely inputs

• \tCollaborate with Product Managers for developing product specific communication

The ideal candidate will also have exceptional interpersonal skills, written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize, with the ability to work in a dynamic and ambiguous area.

About the team

The teams mission is to drive the productivity of Account manager cohort worldwide through intelligent products and in the process help sellers managed by them grow on Amazon. As a vital member of the team, you will interact with product managers and AM stakeholders worldwide to develop best in class learning content.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• \t5+ years of experience in the field of instructional design, including experience in designing and delivering training solutions to large organizations/teams

• \tExperience designing and developing training materials in all modalities, including ILT, e-learning, and video

• \tDemonstrated use of multiple learning methods and linking appropriate methods with learners and outcomes

• \tExperience driving change to improve knowledge outcome of teams/organizations

• \tAbility to represent complex concepts through a combination of written and visual content

• \tProject management skills including, planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, working with stakeholders, and delivering results

• \tKnowledge of authoring tools including Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Rise etc.

• \tMulti-media development in audio, video, and/or animation (e.g. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop)

• \tExperience implementing standardized assessments, certification programs, and simulation-design

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• \tGraduate degree in instructional design, adult learning, or other education-related field

• \tIndustry certification in Instructional Design

• \tHands on experience in applying frameworks and training models including ADDIE, SAM, Kirkpatrick

• \tExperience with emerging tech trends for content creation (e.g. gamification, virtual reality, augmented reality and xAPI)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $65,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $144,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
