The role you'll contribute:

Under the direction of the SPD/Case cart manager the Educator will plan, teach, and evaluate educational programs for sterile processing and case cart staff. The Educator is responsible for new staff onboarding, orientation development, implementation, and evaluation. The Educator participates in organizational teams and committees that plans, evaluates and implements educational offerings and programs that promote increased skill, knowledge, and professional development. The Educator provides expertise in the development of educational offerings and implementation of educational programs, and in interpretation and policy development of regulatory standards and standard work. Acts as liaison to local schools of SPD training and provides input for student clinical experiences. Participates in and uses evidence-based practice and research to promote professional development. The Educator adheres to the AdventHealth Corporate Compliance Plan and to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state, federal agencies, and accrediting bodies. All duties are performed in accordance with established departmental and Hospital policies and procedures. This position actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all, while implementing the principles of Advent Health

Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed :

• 2 years Leadership Experience or 3-5 years as a Technician
• Sterile processing
• Certification in Sterile Processing
