Insight Global is seeking a Technical Writer to sit remotely and support our financial services client based in Pittsburgh, PA. This individual will be joining the organization's Quality Management department and be responsible for preparing, maintaining, and facilitating IT documentation, as well as administering training pertaining to SDLC, post release analysis and quality metrics. They will be helping aid in reviewing documentation and working with subject matter experts to analyze how to update applications and to standardize processes.

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years Technical Writer Experience
- Experience with INTERNAL IT system documentation (NOT API), will be focusing on the company's processes that employees use to complete work
- Bachelors Degree in IT, or English related field
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to understand coding/programming to analyze needed updates or changes for a more standard process
- Experience with best practices regarding process improvement and knowledge management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Financial Industry Experience
- Programming experience, Especially within Mainframe/Cobol
