We are seeking a skilled Technical Writer to join our client's Integrated Security Department. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and researching current business practices and industry benchmarks to create easily accessible internal policies, procedures, and assorted documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and collaborate with internal and external organizations and subject matter experts to gather information and insights
• Analyze information required for developing and updating security-related policies and procedures
• Develop clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Provide technical editing services to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to established standards
• Promote knowledge sharing within the Integrated Security Department
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in cyber and physical security

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as English, Journalism, Technical Writing, or Computer Science
• Minimum of 2 years of experience writing security policies and procedures
• Strong attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
• Experience using security event correlation tools (SIEM)
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant documentation tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks, such as NIST, ISO, and CIS
• Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and mitigation strategies
• Experience working in a regulated industry, such as energy or utilities
• Certification in technical writing or security-related fields (e.g., CISSP, CISA, or CISM)
