The Manager, Strategy will play a key role in supporting the identification, development, and implementation of key strategic and business initiatives that contribute to the growth of USPI. The role will be responsible for supporting the USPI Strategy leadership team in evaluating new market opportunities as the transition to ambulatory surgery care continues across specialties, codifying and implementing system-wide best practices as well as supporting special projects. The role will report to the Director of Strategy and will collaborate with USPI corporate and operations teams as well as Tenet Healthcare enterprise functional departments.

The Manager's role will include the following:
  • Support activities to identify strategic, organic growth opportunities across the portfolio.
  • Lead data analyses for developing business cases and conducting financial assessment of new initiatives to inform prioritization.
  • Assist in implementing system-wide best practices, growth programs, and key strategic initiatives.
  • Support evaluation and implementation of market-specific opportunities, aligned with business plan goals.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track performance of initiatives and overall organic growth metrics.
  • Conduct analysis, prepare reports, present findings and manage tools.

Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • 3+ years of work experience in a relevant role; preferred experience in healthcare.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects.
  • Familiar with different operating models, service line and market constructs.
  • Familiar with project management methodology and tools.
