As the Warehouse Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and leading service-level improvement efforts, as well as exploring cost reduction opportunities within the CLS supply chain model. You will represent operations as the Distribution Logistics SME in various customer-facing projects and forums.

Additionally, you will be developing, implementing, communicating, and analyzing metrics, queries, and code in the Warehouse Management System, Warehouse Control System, and Labor Management Systems. You will also lead and establish the monthly and quarterly execution activities as necessary, managing reports, projects, and distribution tasks in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures, focusing on safety, quality, environmental compliance, the Credo, operational budget, and the operational calendar.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day warehouse logistics expertise to support 3PL distribution center (DC) operations
  • Facilitate all critical supply chain activities driven down to core warehouse and distribution materials flow
  • Analyze volume trends across the network, investigate deviations, and identify solutions or preventative measures for future occurrences.
  • Collaborate across J&J E2E supply chain and maintain rapport with internal and external partners: Distribution Excellence, Planning (US & OUS), Transportation, IT & Distribution Technology (DT), Engineering, Customer Service, and 3PL provider
  • Coordinate all Outbound-related activities (put away, pick, pack & ship), communicating volume spikes, exception order management, volume forecasting, and operational execution
  • Monitor outbound metrics (e.g. Dock to Stock, On Time Ship, On Time in Full, Picking Accuracy) and report to DC leadership.
  • Drive strategic, technical, and tactical initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness across operations, such as automating manual processes
  • Apply Lean initiatives to ensure continuous improvement by eliminating waste and improving bottom-line (Cost).
  • Completes all other tasks/projects as assigned by management


Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree required


Required:

  • Relevant professional work experience
  • Warehouse & Distribution Operations experience
  • Warehouse Management System (WMS), Warehouse Control System (WCS), and/or Transportation systems (TMS) experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate and influence effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Word, PowerPoint, and Advanced Excel


Preferred:

  • Strong 3PL Operations experience
  • SAP knowledge
  • Agile operations ability and capability to lead or support projects
  • Process Excellence training and/or certification or APICS certification
  • Medical device industry experience
