Job Description:

• Monitoring on-premise and cloud performance for potential bottlenecks and resolving performance issues
• Identifying best practices for cloud services monitoring and management and promoting these best practices across the corporation
• Automating key services and tasks across cloud systems to increase efficiency and further reduce cloud costs
• Identifying and implementing cost-saving strategies to reduce ongoing cloud expenses
• Formulating a recovery plan and executing the plan in the event of cloud downtime or failure
• Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
• Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role within Azure
• Azure certifications preferred
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Client management skills to discuss systems as needed

• Cloud: Synapse Analytics / Pipelines, Data Explorer, Data Factory, Event Hub, IoT Hub, Data Lake Storage, Machine Learning, SQL Databases, CosmosDB
