The Customer Service Representative is our key link to our customers and their business needs. Their primary responsibility is to assist customers in meeting their goals. They also assist their outside sales person with account management.
Responsibilities
This position requires the ability to communicate with customers clearly and effectively on the telephone in English and to distinguish color spectrums for supporting color match and quality control. To support helping in other areas will require some physical labor.

- Must have minimum 3 years of Customer Service Representative experience within commercial printing manufacturing

The Customer Service Representative is our key link to our customers and their business needs. Their primary responsibility is to assist customers in meeting their goals. They also assist their outside sales person with account management.
Responsibilities
- Create customers who are raving fans of the company by creating a great customer experience.
- Maintain accuracy of work orders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist new customers and work with the Finance team to establish a new account and credit terms, if applicable.
- Work with the sales team and production to guarantee successful customer projects
- Write up orders accurately in a timely fashion with clear and concise details and instructions.
- Have a good understanding of what the customer expectations are for completed projects so if questions arise throughout the shop (prepress; bindery; printing) answers can be given as not to delay production.
- Return all client correspondence quickly within a reasonable time frame (2 hours max)
- Communicate necessary information to the estimating department to provide clients with accurate and timely estimates.
- Develop, maintain, and grow client relationships.
- Manage and assist clients on project schedules and budgets, making suggestions when appropriate.
- Make proactive phone calls to existing accounts to maintain the client relationship and promote sales.
- Make follow-up calls on quotes and orders.
- Attend daily production meetings prepared to discuss the current workload.
- Attend 1:1 coaching sessions for continued personal development.
- This position requires at least 3 years experience in the printing industry to support knowledge of printing processes and substrates.
- Successful experience in managing details with accuracy and efficiency in order to write up and enter all jobs into the production management system within one working day of receipt or less based on the urgency of the job.
- Skilled in writing orders with clear concise details and instructions to assist the production team and minimize the need for clarification.
- Ability to identify appropriate solutions for customer needs and ability to work with the production manager to develop creative solutions for new concepts.
- Excellent communication skills for working with customers and for coordinating with production and sales.
- Skilled in responding to client correspondence professionally and within a reasonable time frame.
- Ability to identify and collect required information for the estimating department to provide clients with accurate and timely estimates.
- Successful experience in building lasting relationships with customers through a professional, positive demeanor and through proactive interactions.
- Ability to identify project timelines and budget requirements in order to support the client in successfully meeting their goals.
- Ability to professionally assist customers in managing the details and timing of their project (submitting graphics, proofs, approvals, etc.).
- Extensive experience in using numerous forms of communication to connect with customers in regards to quotes, job details, etc. These include, but are not limited to, phone calls, email, and Fax.
- A working knowledge of Printers Plan or comparable system for placing orders is helpful, but not necessary.
- Ability to learn new procedures and processes to facilitate orders and ultimately be able to process orders alone.
