Primary Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for delivering innovative data and analytics architectural solutions, partnering with business and technology leaders to establish and maintain patterns and practices that support PEMCO's strategic goals. This role leads the development and implementation of long-range technology strategies for data and analytics across all business and IT disciplines. This role will work directly with senior leadership on Data Strategy, Data and Technology, and Data Governance to develop and evolve an integrated data architecture roadmap.

Primary Responsibilities: - Lead the establishment and maintenance of Data & Analytic architecture models, standards, processes and constraints across the organization.
- Mentor technology peers and business partners in best practices associated with enterprise architecture.
- Monitor the industry solution landscape to track the development of available solutions and identify opportunities for adapting the team's solution architecture. Drive discussion on the business capability landscape to identify opportunities for greater long-term business value.
- Proactively review and recommend selection of third-party software platforms.
- Produce patterns and models that guide the development and implementation of business solutions across multiple projects, providing direction to technical teams during project delivery and ensuring implementations support technology and business roadmaps.
- Support multiple simultaneous strategic development initiatives, leading the development of next-generation data solutions that support business and IT strategies.
- Drive organizational change by effectively articulating the value of data architecture standards and practices to technology and business partners
- Develop and guide data and analytic strategy, collaborating with other domain architects and socializing roadmaps with business and IT partners to ensure that they create both business value and opportunities to apply technical innovations to customer needs.
- Collaborate with other technology architects to set long term strategies for Data & Analytic Architecture as part of an overall IT roadmap.
- Collaborate with development teams and production support to resolve near-term domain-specific architectural issues and to remove architectural design debt.
- Provide strategic guidance, mentorship and technical expertise to technical teams across multiple disciplines and projects.

Skills/ Qualifications:
Education
- B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience is required

Work Experience
- 10 years of experience designing and implementing enterprise data & analytics architectures, including experience managing delivery of multiple simultaneous complex technology solutions required.
- Ability to communicate very technically challenging concepts to a broad audience with strong facilitation and presentation skills required.
- 10 years of experience in a lead role, either managing or advising large and strategic project teams required.
- Experience with modern technology service architectural hosting, security, and risk management concerns (eg, Cloud Data Warehouse, Data Engineering Pipeline, Data Preparation and Modeling, Advanced Analytics, Data Services and Consumption) required.
- Broad knowledge of technologies and supplier capabilities and experience implementing these into new and existing large infrastructure/systems required.
- Working knowledge of various Data Architecture approaches including but not limited to TOGAF, DAMA, and CMMI etc.
- Experience in LEAN, Agile/Scrum, or ITIL principals with experience implementing one of these practices preferred.
- Knowledge of the Microsoft infrastructure and solution stacks operating in on premise, cloud, and hybrid hosting environments.

Professional Licenses & Certifications
- Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), MSCE-BI, Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or similar certification Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), CompTIA A+ certification and/or HDI Desktop Support Technician
