Job Summary:

The Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Intern will gain firsthand knowledge by performing routine tasks using well defined standards and procedures under close supervision.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Duties include assisting Professional Engineers in the:
• Preparation and review of calculations
• Preparation and review of equipment and instrument data sheets
• Preparation and review of equipment, cables, tray and control systems specifications
• Preparation and review of test and commissioning procedures
• Review and checking of drawings and packages
• Utilizing Intools, ETAP and/or other software for preparation of design, bid and construction packages
    Work under the supervision of an experienced Electrical and/or Instrumentation Engineer Gain exposure to a variety of electrical, instrumentation and control system challenges in the design of Oil and Gas facilities. Gain exposure to a variety of software packages used in the everyday operations of an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering department


Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):

• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future;

• HS Diploma or the Equivalent required;

• Enrollment in a four (4) year baccalaureate program for Electrical Engineering or Engineering program with Electrical focus at an accredited college or university in the United States;

• Expected Graduation May 2026 or prior;

• GPA 3.0 or above;

• Candidate must provide a resume as well as the college or university transcripts.

Working Conditions:

• Work is primarily conducted in an office environment (Private or Semi-Private Office) but also requires occasional travel to off-site work locations;
• Field duties require indoor and outdoor work in a plant or industrial setting, around production machinery with extreme noise levels;
• Interaction with other team members, as well as supervisors and client personnel;
• Must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection;
• May be at more than one job site in a day and must be able to tolerate climate changes.

Physical Requirements (With or without Reasonable Accommodation):

• Must be able to lift and carry five (5) pounds;

• Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively;
