The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, vendors, customers and the general public.
  • Manage the volunteers to best meet the goals of the Shoppe established in collaboration with the Gift Shoppe Team.
  • Order and maintain relevant supplies and equipment for the shop affecting Shoppe profitability
  • Compile financial reports as requested. Including, but not limited to daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
  • Review daily cash receipts and make deposits. Ensure accurate sales records are maintained
  • Analyze sales and assist in selecting current, profitable inventory and maintain a well stocked, inviting, orderly shoppe.Prepare an annual detailed line item budget for the shop.
  • Convey all necessary information to workers regarding new merchandise, changes or upkeep of shoppe and it's appearance.
  • Review all invoices for accuracy and insure prompt payment. Prepare a detailed inventory of merchandise by department at the end of the fiscal year.
  • Train and develop volunteers according to Hospital policies, communicating all necessary information to staff regarding changes to ensure service, safety and corporate compliance.Educate volunteers on point of sale cash register system and shop systems.
  • Ensure shoppe is open on time all days of operation.

Education, Training & Experience:
  • High school diploma/GED required. Associate must have one (1) of the following: - Customer service: three (3) years - Retail Store Manager: two (2) years Polished customer relations skills and excellent organizational skills. Knowledge of computer hardware and software.
