Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is recruiting for a healthcare professional experienced in population health to manage and direct the Collaborations for Outcome and Disparity Improvement unit within the Office of Health Innovation & Quality. Completion of graduate core program in business, management or public administration, public health, health administration, social or behavioral science or public finance; 24 mos. exp. in planning & administering health services program or health services project management (e.g., health care data analysis, health services contract management, health care market & financial expertise; health services program communication; health services budget development, HMO & hospital rate development, health services eligibility, health services data analysis).
-Or 24 months experience as a Medicaid Health Systems Administrator 1, 65295. Note: education & experience is to be commensurate with approved position description on file.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.

Job Overview :
Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) is recruiting for a healthcare professional experienced in population health to manage and direct the Collaborations for Outcome and Disparity Improvement unit within the Office of Health Innovation & Quality. As the Collaborations for Outcome and Disparity Improvement Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising one unit responsible for the Next Generation of Managed Care programs requiring cross-system collaboration between managed care plans and large health systems, local communities, or providers (e.g., Managed Care Community Reinvestment)
- Directing unit charged with administering payor best practice and clinical best practice programs [e.g., Regional Quality Improvement Hubs, Pediatric Accountable Care organization (ACOs), and School-Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) Partnership programs]
- Aligning work of unit with other value-based purchasing efforts and ODM's population-based quality strategy with ODM's managed care programs to achieve quality and performance goal
- Directing collaboration with other ODM offices, community-based organizations, state agencies, ODM's Managed Care Entities (MCEs), academic centers, health systems, advisory committees, and other internal & external stakeholders and partners to facilitate improvement project development, design, and implementation
