Manager of Compliance Specialist Job Duties:
  • Guide staff and subject matter experts in development and implementation of compliance processes and procedures
  • Develop internal processes and controls to achieve and sustain compliance with various industry standards
  • Define and adhere to internal processes relating to the compliance program changes
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of relevant training materials
  • Provide training to maintain an environment of continuous improvement
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on the status of the department, compliance plans, reports and more
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships both internal and external to the company to allow for effective achievement of business goals and compliance
  • Monitors industry standards to ensure company remains in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Perform research and review industry information to gain understanding of requirements needed for compliance
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects

Manager of Compliance Specialist Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a business concentration or similar
  • 5+ years of professional experience in one or a combination of operational audit, risk advisory/management, SOX
  • Advanced skills in Excel
  • Strong technical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and quality organizational and communication abilities
  • Proven leadership and staff development experience
