SUMMARY
The Patient Access Representative welcomes patients to Evangelical Community Hospital. In doing so, this person will accurately gather, verify, and record all pertinent information required to comply with medical regulations and to produce correct statistical information. The Representative will also verify all tests and procedures ordered to ensure they meet medical necessity criteria and verify insurance benefits for all patients.

QUALIFICATIONS
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Medical terminology and medical billing course preferred.
3. Prior customer service experience required. Registration experience preferred.
4. Pennsylvania state police criminal record check, child abuse history clearance and an FBI criminal history check required.
