Project Controls Engineer

We are looking for a Project Controls Engineer to join one of our automotive clients in Dearborn, MI. The person in this role is going to be the single point of contact for Powertrain Controls software. In this position you'd be responsible for driving Powertrain Software deliverables and timelines to support past, present, and future programs.
Additional responsibilities:
- Lead Powerpack Program Management Sub teams (PMST)
- Manage achievement of Program Targets/Milestones
- Manage costed BOM
- Interact closely with hardware and software teams
- Manage weight BOM status and targets
- Ensure timely delivery for program achievements, build events, and calibration release requirements
- Facilitate implementation of software technology/designs needed to achieve program and department quality objectives
- Represent Powertrain and Electrified Controls at key contact within Powertrain team

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience working within Powertrain Controls
- Project/Program Management
- Strong Microsoft Office experience (Excel -- creating Pareto charts, PowerPoint -- Creating presentations)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
