JOB SUMMARY

Nabors is seeking high performing intern to provide hands-on support for the International HR team. Participates in projects leading the way in the drilling industry. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gain knowledge and experience in Global Human Resources by actively participating in meetings, liaising with international management/leadership, and participating in projects as designated by the International HR team
• Work with HR team using HRIS system to process change of status for employees
• Help design/maintain/audit HR files and track approvals for new hires, transfers, and terminations
• Help sustain and process current payroll records and tasks
• Perform basic troubleshooting by email/communication with employees
• Process employee document requests, invoices and answer HR-related questions for Houston employees and International mobile workforce by understanding NDIL and Corporate HR policies and procedures
• Able to analyze data and understand the relationships and correlations
• Follows procedures and safety guidelines

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Pursuing university studies towards bachelor's degree
• Troubleshooting skills
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work in groups/teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bilingual (Spanish)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
• The primary location for this position is an office environment.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.
• 10% travel to rig yards and field.
