JOB SUMMARY
Nabors is seeking high performing intern to provide hands-on support for the International HR team. Participates in projects leading the way in the drilling industry. Benefit from real life business exposure. Take your talent and skills to the next level. Be part of the Nabors team. Internship will be based out of Houston, Texas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Gain knowledge and experience in Global Human Resources by actively participating in meetings, liaising with international management/leadership, and participating in projects as designated by the International HR team
• Work with HR team using HRIS system to process change of status for employees
• Help design/maintain/audit HR files and track approvals for new hires, transfers, and terminations
• Help sustain and process current payroll records and tasks
• Perform basic troubleshooting by email/communication with employees
• Process employee document requests, invoices and answer HR-related questions for Houston employees and International mobile workforce by understanding NDIL and Corporate HR policies and procedures
• Able to analyze data and understand the relationships and correlations
• Follows procedures and safety guidelines
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Pursuing university studies towards bachelor's degree
• Troubleshooting skills
• Computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work in groups/teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bilingual (Spanish)

• An appreciation of commitment to safety leadership.
• Solid comprehensive problem-solving skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to multitask and work well independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to generate research ideas.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
• The primary location for this position is an office environment.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Rig yard trips may be expected from time to time.
• 10% travel to rig yards and field.
