Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Personnel Management, or related field required.
  • Three (3) years' experience in development and use of training methods, techniques, and materials required.
Job Duties
  • Plans, organizes, administers, conducts, and coordinates in-service training and educational programs.
  • Confers with management and line supervision to determine the need and scope of training programs.
  • Develops curriculum and lesson plans or other appropriate methods of presentation.
  • Conducts training sessions, organizes lectures, and prepares training manuals and materials, visual aids such as slides and films, and other training implements.
  • Maintains records of training activities and evaluates applicability and effectiveness of programs.
  • Recommends policies and procedures relating to training activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Work requires good oral and written skills.
  • Work requires proficiency in the use of software packages.
  • Work requires telephone and personal contact with all levels of internal and external personnel and organizations.
  • Work requires the ability to carry, push, or pull 15lbs.
  • Work requires ability to read, write, develop programs, and conduct analysis.
  • Work requires recommendation of new policies or revisions to existing policies.
  • Work requires tracking costs associated with all programs and presentations.

Work is performed primarily in general office areas located in a hospitals or clinics.
