Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, Personnel Management, or related field required.
- Three (3) years' experience in development and use of training methods, techniques, and materials required.
- Plans, organizes, administers, conducts, and coordinates in-service training and educational programs.
- Confers with management and line supervision to determine the need and scope of training programs.
- Develops curriculum and lesson plans or other appropriate methods of presentation.
- Conducts training sessions, organizes lectures, and prepares training manuals and materials, visual aids such as slides and films, and other training implements.
- Maintains records of training activities and evaluates applicability and effectiveness of programs.
- Recommends policies and procedures relating to training activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Work requires good oral and written skills.
- Work requires proficiency in the use of software packages.
- Work requires telephone and personal contact with all levels of internal and external personnel and organizations.
- Work requires the ability to carry, push, or pull 15lbs.
- Work requires ability to read, write, develop programs, and conduct analysis.
- Work requires recommendation of new policies or revisions to existing policies.
- Work requires tracking costs associated with all programs and presentations.
