Internship Program Overview

To be eligible for the summer 2025 internship program, you must be a junior standing candidate pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with a graduate date of May 2026. Most positions are based in St. Petersburg with other available locations depending on company need.

Candidates who successfully complete the internship program have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role at Raymond James after graduation.

Job Summary

Raymond James' Advisor Inclusion Networks is seeking an enthusiastic student to join the team as a summer intern. As an intern, you will have a front row seat in working with diverse groups of advisors, leaders, and partners across the firm. This role calls for someone interested in supporting financial advisors from diverse backgrounds to grow their businesses, as well as a desire to work on marketing and resource solutions that will support all financial advisors meet evolving demands of demographically-diverse clients.  

Internship Length: 10 week

Start Date: June 2, 2025

End Date: August 8, 2025

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, up to 40 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilitie

  • Manage special projects to support advisors and clients, including meeting with leadership and advisors for feedback


  • Utilize data and research to create slide decks and reports supporting advancement of networks' ongoing initiatives


  • Support cross-functional or cross-network projects and participate in events such as Pride month and Juneteenth


  • Network and build relationships with associates and advisors from diverse backgrounds to understand opportunities for further support


  • Other duties and responsibilities to support ongoing work of the networks, as assigned


Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilitie

Knowledge of -

  • Diversity and inclusion practices in a corporate environment


  • Raymond James' working structure, policies, mission, and strategies


  • Basic concepts, practices, and procedures of a professional office environment


  • Fundamental concepts of financial services and wealth management


Skill in -

  • Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, formulas, charts, filters)


  • Delivering clear and effective presentations


  • Emotional intelligence and using appropriate interpersonal styles based on the situation


Ability to -

  • Organize and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines


  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing


  • Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment


Educational/Previous Experience Requirement

  • Junior standing pursuing a bachelor's degree - all fields considered.


  • Any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training approved by Human Resources.

  • None required.
