Work hours may vary a bit by site and will be 7.5 hours daily within one of these ranges. 10:00-5:30, 10:30-6:00, 11:00-6:30 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our after school program as an Expanded Learning Academic School Specialist. Staff will focus on instruction, intervention and curriculum during after school hours. This dual-role position is critical in ensuring the academic success and enrichment of our students outside of regular school hours. The successful candidate will teach intervention programs aimed at supporting students' learning needs while also leading the development and implementation of engaging instructional activities aligned with our educational goals. Lead the development of after school curriculum aligned with educational standards and school objectives.Design and implement engaging lessons and activities that promote academic growth and enrichment. Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate after school activities with daytime curriculum and learning goals. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and program activities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and intervention outcomes.

Experience

Requires a California Clear Multiple or Single Subject teaching credential. Strong content knowledge of mathematics and/or literacy development and the ability to apply it to teaching and learning. Requires ability in facilitating groups, collaborative planning, and conducting professional development.Desired: Master's degree in education or related field, 5 years or more of teaching experience with increasing responsibility.
