We are in search of a 2nd Shift Security Supervisor to join our Public Safety team of our 1,300 acre Grand Geneva Resort & Spa in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. About the role

To ensure the security and safety routines and tasks are properly completed in accordance with established standards.

What will you be doing?
• Ensure all security personnel functions are being properly completed by the department
• Ensures that all personnel are properly assigned at all times
• Review all reports completed by security officers to ensure accuracy and timely submission
• Maintain a good relationship with all departments in the hotel
• Reports all observed hotel property deficiencies and safety hazards
• Ensures that a thorough and complete investigation and report is made on incidents incurred by guests and associates
• Responsible for guest room surveillance in conjunction with Security Director
• Ensure that all phases of the key control program are maintained and any discrepancies noted are investigated thoroughly and reported to the Security Director
• Ensures all security equipment (walkie-talkies, radios, cameras, etc.) is kept clean and in good working condition
• Monitors all traffic in the lobby area and restaurant, restrooms, garage area, and room service area to control non-guest an/or associate access
• Reports all associates using unauthorized hotel entrance/exits when reporting to or leaving work to the Security Director
• Patrol all areas and be a visible deterrent

What do you bring to the role?
• Previous experience in a security role, preferably in the hospitality industry. Experience in a supervisory role highly desired.
• Knowledge of local laws and ordinances.
• Must have a customer service mentality.
• Must pass MVR background check
