Lehigh University, a prestigious institution renowned for its academic excellence, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Academic Coordinator to join our collaborative team. This full-time, nonexempt staff position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in supporting the university's innovative Intercollegiate (IC) Programs and the Rapidly Accelerated Research Experience (RARE) program.

As an Academic Coordinator, you will provide essential administrative support to the IC Programs, including Computer Science and Business (CSB), Integrated Business and Engineering (IBE), Integrated Degree in Engineering, Arts & Sciences (IDEAS), and Integrated Business & Health (IBH), as well as the RARE program.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Assisting in the administration and daily operations of the IC and RARE programs
• Providing administrative support to the IC academic advisors, program directors, and RARE program directors
• Ensuring a welcoming and efficient office environment for all visitors
• Coordinating program-related events and activities
• Maintaining accurate records and databases

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or the equivalent combination of education and experience; Associates Degree in a related field preferred.
• Three to five years of related work experience
● Strong computer skills with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software.
● Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and a high level of customer service required.
● Excellent organizational and time management skills.
● Some analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

This position is a Grade: 7 - 37.5, offering an approximate salary of $36,090-$43,330. The duties of the position do not allow for a remote work option; the employee in this position will be required to work on campus where they can be fully accessible to the Lehigh community.
