Job Summary/Basic Functions

To provide general information on all UMW BA/BS/BLS academic regulations and procedures to students, parents, the University community and the public. To provide administrative support to the Office of Academic Services including the Director, academic advisors, and Faculty Fellows. To provide coverage for the front window of Academic Services and respond to phone and email inquiries. To complete other duties as assigned as they relate to student success and academic mission of the University.

Required Experience:

Experience in an administrative support role that includes communication via phone, email, and/or in-person inquiries with a variety of constituents Experience using the Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Additional Considerations:

KSAs
Experience in a higher education setting Strong customer service experience

EDUCATION
Associate's or bachelor's degree

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
Experience working in a higher education setting Experience managing and editing social media platforms such as Facebook Experience using Banner and/or EAB Navigate
