Position Details:
Title: Account Manager
Location: Anywhere in East Texas
Shift: Monday - Friday | 1st Shift
Compensation: $90 - $95K base salary (depending on experience) + commission
Guaranteed commission of $15-$16K your first quarter
After that you will earn a minimum of $15K every quarter so long as you are hitting your metrics.

Travel: ~70% of the time?through assigned area. Some overnights will be required depending on where you live in the territory. Your territory will consist of all of East Texas.

Position Description | Account Manager
The Account Manager position is a customer interfacing member of the sales team, which will require effective collaboration to achieve yearly objectives.
The Account Manager primary focus will be on the Company portfolio products and services and will be responsible for the following:
• Within a geographic area responsible for selling Reciprocating product(s), services, and parts with primary focus on reciprocating engines and compressors.
• Interact with customers (current & new) to understand their business needs and goals
• Communicate new Company innovations & technology solutions to address customer operational issues
• Define sales strategy for targeted clients
• Cooperates with (technical) sales support to realize sales
• Update Microsoft Dynamics Daily

Requirements:
The ideal candidate has a strong background in the Oil & Gas Industry to include knowledge of oilfield, production facilities, and compression operations. You should also have reciprocating compressor and natural gas engine experience as well as knowledge of the midstream market of oil and gas. Finally, you should have knowledge of the Upstream process (the activities involved in the exploration and production of oil and natural gas).
Lastly, this is a sales role that requires an ambitious and self-motivated individual who excels under minimal supervision.
