Accounts Payable Clerk

Advantage Resourcing is partnering with an aerospace manufacturing company to find an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate accounts payable records and ensuring smooth financial operations.

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

• Document Handling: Compile and sort documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to substantiate business transactions.
• Invoice Processing: Prepare invoices for payment by determining due dates, posting to the computer system, obtaining managerial authorization, compiling and printing reports, and preparing final checks for signature and filing.
• Verification: Verify receipt of internal purchase orders and receivers, and file them pending invoice receipt.
• Account Management: Determine general ledger account numbers, compute and record charges, discounts, credits, and debits in the computer system.
• Reconciliation: Troubleshoot and reconcile discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.
• Record Creation: Create vouchers, checks, debit memos, reports, and other records as needed.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED required. Two years of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Skills: Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to individuals with disabilities.
