Position Summary
Activity Aide assists Activity Director in carrying out a planned activity [program for residents. Maintains records, transports residents to and from activities. Performs varied clerical and department maintenance functions. The person holding this position is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties and responsibilities in accordance with current existing federal and state regulations and established company policies and procedures.
Shift: 8:00am-4:00pm some weekends
Job Description
• Demonstrates knowledge of age specific developmental factors specific to adult and geriatric residents in carrying out activity programs
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and techniques necessary to carry out activities for residents with the following needs: therapeutic, dementia, dialysis, IV Therapy and infectious diseases if applicable
• Attends appropriately under the direction of the Activities Director and acts a an active member of the interdisciplinary team
• Demonstrates knowledge of and complies with the Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program when performing work functions
