Addiction Support Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Addiction Support Specialist to join our team. The Recovery Coach will provide support to our clients with mental health and substance abuse issues at our addiction treatment center and will work under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional to implement treatment plans and provide ongoing care and support for patients. The ideal candidate will have experience in addiction support, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping others achieve their goal of sobriety.

Responsibilities:

Provides support to clients to help them manage their mental health or substance abuse issues.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure that patients receive comprehensive care

Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress.

Administer medications under the supervision of a licensed healthcare professional

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients

Provide crisis intervention as needed

Participate in staff meetings and continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on the latest treatment approaches and techniques

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals Ability to work in a fast-paced and potentially stressful environment

Experience in a detox or residential care facility,
