We are seeking visionary, creative educators to support our BSN curriculum which is guided by the core themes of practice excellence, population health, inter-professional collaboration, and innovation. Adjunct faculty supporting JCN's Headache Medicine Program will facilitate effective student learning in a variety of clinical educational settings across the care continuum and provide guidance for students across multiple care transitions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop educational content and provide teaching and mentorship to students delivering care to an individual, group, or community.
- Work with instructional designers to develop teaching methods and media designed to reach students of varying educational and experiential backgrounds to allow each student the opportunity to master the objectives of the course.
- Facilitate a discussion board with feedback, posted readings, and/or assignments consistent with student's level of knowledge and skills and individual learning needs.
- Evaluate assignments and other written work in a timely manner.
- Evaluate and provide documented feedback to student on level of performance based on course objectives.
- Remediate students as required or needed.
- Inform course coordinator of all student and agency issues and concerns.
- Orient and maintain current knowledge related to agency/clinical policies, procedures, and expectations with the assistance of the agency/clinical personnel.
- Comply with all applicable regulatory rules and standards.
- Report to the Program Director; a course coordinator will also provide direct oversight.
Qualifications
Master's degree required, Doctorate degree preferred.
- Clinical or academic expertise in headache medicine
- Excellent communication and teaching skills with a high level of initiative
