Position description

The Division of Hematology-Oncology in the Department of Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is seeking applicants for a position in the Adjunct Series at the Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or full Professor ranks. A Ph.D. is required. Rank is commensurate upon experience.

The candidate is expected to participate in research related to Hematology-Oncology. The candidate may not necessarily work as an independent investigator, but may be a valued member of a research team. The position will involve teaching of trainees and/or graduate students and post docs. Faculty in the Adjunct Professor Series are also expected to publish in peer-reviewed journals, participate in other professional endeavors and in University and public service.

The posted UC salary scales [ https://www.ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/compensation/index.html ] set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 5. The salary range for this position is $97,300 - $297,200. This position includes membership in the health sciences compensation plan [ https://ucop.edu/academic-personnel-programs/_files/apm/apm-670.pdf ], which provides for eligibility for additional compensation.
