Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) and the general direction of the Staff Services Manager II (SSM II) and Assistant Executive Officer, the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) works as an Administrative Case Coordinator within the Board of Pharmacy's Enforcement Unit. The SSA reports disciplinary case information to the National Practitioner Data Bank - Health Information Practitioner Data Bank. The SSA performs analytical duties, serves as a resource and performs those functions to ensure the board's enforcement program is run effectively and its strategic objectives are met.

Working Conditions
The incumbent works up to 40 hours per week in an office setting, with artificial light and temperature control. The use of a personal computer, telephone, copier and fax machine is essential to the duties of this position. The position requires bending and stooping to retrieve files, sitting and standing consistent with office work, and occasional light lifting of no more than 25 lbs.

Fingerprinting
Title 11, section 703 (d) of the California Code of Regulations requires criminal record checks of all personnel who have access to Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI). In accordance to DCA's (CORI) procedures, clearance shall be maintained while employed in a CORI-designated position.
