Rush University Medical Center, a nationally recognized clinical and academic institution and the teaching hospital for Rush Medical and Nursing Colleges, located in downtown Chicago, invites applications for the position of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation - Spine Advanced Practice Provider to join their team and support Rush's Spine Center.

This role also works in collaboration and partnership with both neurosurgery and interventional spine PMR and is a 100% outpatient position. This will be a licensed physician assistant (PA) or advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) who functions as a member of the health care team to provide high quality, comprehensive acute and/or routine medical/surgical care of Rush University Medical Center patients within the scope of practice granted in accordance with the RUMC medical staff bylaws.

The Rush Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation has worked collaboratively on patient care across the acute, subacute and outpatient arenas at RUSH for the past 5 + decades. The Rush Department of PM&R improves function and quality of life in the communities we serve through the integration of excellent patient care, education, research, and community engagement. We recently launched our new joint venture 56-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit in the Rush Specialty Hospital. We currently have 14 MD/DO and one APP, 3 RN's, 4 MA's and one Clinic Coordinator and we work closely with leadership in the Neurosciences Service Line. In addition to our downtown campus, providers care for patients across the Rush system in Oak Brook, Oak Park, and South Loop.

*Candidates with PM&R and/or Neurological Sciences experience preferred.
