The ICUs include Trauma, Neuroscience, Surgical, Medical, Vascular Cardiothoracic, Coronary Care, Burn, Pediatrics, and Neonatal Units. TGH has 143 intensive care unit beds. TGH is a level one Trauma Center, and a certified Regional Burn Center that excels in the care of critically ill patients.
Job Summary
The APRN or PA provides medical services to individuals, families and groups, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention as well as diagnosis and management of acute and chronic diseases. Works autonomously as well as in collaboration with a variety of individuals to diagnose and manage clients' health care problems. Maintains an annual protocol with supervising physician, as required by state professional regulatory agencies. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values in accordance with Tampa General Hospital.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS
Current licensure as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Florida.
