Air Quality Specialist Role:
In the Air Quality Specialist role, you will be an integral part of the organization's commitment to provide clean and affordable energy.
The role will concentrate on overseeing air permitting, compliance, and reporting tasks for oil and gas facilities, while also spearheading the development of an emissions reduction program.
Stay updated on current and forthcoming state and federal environmental regulations pertinent to onshore oil and gas extraction.
Oversee emissions inventories and annual reporting of greenhouse gases.
Supervise air compliance initiatives such as LDAR, engine testing, and preventative maintenance.
Contribute to the development and execution of corrective action plans.
Administer all facets of oil and gas facility permitting.
Engage with government bodies to represent the organization, ensuring timely progression of permitting and compliance communications.
Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with Operations and Engineering teams.
Effectively prioritize multiple projects across various regions, ensuring resources are appropriately allocated to meet project and compliance deadlines.
Proactively assess and communicate potential air quality impacts resulting from developmental and operational adjustments.
Air Quality Specialist Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree is required.
Degree in Engineering is preferred.
5+ years of experience in environmental air permitting and compliance directly related to Oil and Gas upstream operations.
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in interacting and communicating effectively with individuals across all organizational levels.
Strong experience with adept problem analysis and technical translation skills.
Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt promptly to shifting priorities.
Proficient in comprehending, interpreting, and consistently applying environmental regulations.
Demonstrated strength in mathematics, science, and computer literacy.
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
