Schedule: 36 hours variable start times/shift w/every other weekend rotation

The Staff Registered Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing care for patients throughout procedural services
• Supporting the Procedural Float Pool specialty, the designated staff nurse:
• Prepares patients for procedures and provides post procedure and extended recovery care for inpatient and ambulatory populations.
• The rotation will include, but not limited to, pre/intra/post procedure Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, Extended Recovery, Outpatient Infusion Center, Cardiac Rehab, and Pain Management Center.
• Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.

Qualifications

To qualify you must have:

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
• Experience:
  • • Post Anesthesia Care/Procedural Recovery Unit experience preferred.
  • Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit preferred.
  • Intravenous skill experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS required.
• Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
• Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
