The primary role of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to support the development of strategic analyses, help build reporting dashboards and frameworks, and help own reporting and sales performance measurement for the organization. This individual will be responsible for owning and unlocking the power of the data streams coming into the company, including but not limited to point-of-sale, consumer panel, and consumption data to help drive meaningful impact for the organization both US and Internationally. The role will be expected to provide a strong perspective on the way we bring data to life for the company and help support the vision of business intelligence for the future.

Ways you will make a difference

  • Lead the reporting and analysis of point-of-sale and consumer panel data monthly, highlighting key action areas and presenting strategic insights to Senior Leadership.
  • Proactively uncover strategic insights utilizing consumer data and business performance to drive critical actions, helping shape strategy to grow the business.
  • Provide consumer analytics thought leadership, collaborate on best practice approaches with cross-functional teams, and translate data into actionable insights for the business.
  • Design and create dashboards, automate reporting through platforms like Power BI, and execute the analytics learning agenda for the current year while planning for future acceleration.
  • Manage existing dataset maintenance, new item coding, and vendor relationships to ensure we are maximizing our partnerships and getting the best out of our data.
  • Help support and execute the evolution of the analytics function within Ferrara with advanced analytics to shape a more data driven organization
  • Audit the existing vendors and outside landscape of new vendors and capabilities to bring further expertise and tools in house with best-in-class suppliers.
  • Up to 10% travel, when necessary

  • Strong oral/written communication and storytelling skills
  • Strong attention to detail with an eye towards process improvement
  • Comfort working independently and through ambiguity
  • Bias for action and passion for delivering results


Experiences that will support your success

  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Years of experience: 1-2 years
  • Other qualifications/certifications:
    • Experience in CPG relevant/area of business intelligence / consumer analytics
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
    • Experience with point of sale and consumer panel data (IRI / Nielsen)
    • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization packages
    • Experience with NPD in-home consumption data
    • Python and SQL skills are a plus
