Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM (Flexible schedule available)

Assignment Duration: 6 Months

Location: Bartow, FL

Job Overview:
We are seeking an Analytical Lab Technician to join our team. This role involves the preparation, analysis, and data recording of samples, while strictly adhering to established procedures and health and safety guidelines. The technician will also be responsible for preparing reports and maintaining database records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, identify, and prepare various samples for analysis.
• Set up, maintain, and operate laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Perform analyses using hazardous chemicals and prescribed procedures to determine the quality of product samples.
• Perform calculations, review data for accuracy, prepare reports, and maintain database records.
• Execute other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate's Degree in Chemistry or Science is preferred.
• Experience: Entry-level experience in laboratory work required; 1-2 years of laboratory experience preferred.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong communication skills.
• Other Requirements: Valid driver's license.

Work Environment:
The position primarily involves working indoors in a controlled environment, with occasional exposure to varying outdoor temperatures.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to lift 0-25 lbs. regularly without assistance.
• Ability to distinguish colors, patterns, or materials.
• Must be able to read, write, and understand basic English.
• Able to perform tasks safely without posing a direct threat to self or others.
